Rajasthan Royals( RR) have been indicted of match- fixing after their shocking loss against Lucknow Super titans( LSG) in the 36th match of the Indian Premier League 2025( IPL 2025). Jaideep Bihani, convenor of the ad hoc commission of Rajasthan Cricket Association( RCA), has contended that the platoon was involved in some foul play, raising questions over their loss in a close hassle.
Chasing a target of 181 runs, the Sanju Samson- led side demanded just nine runs to win in the final over with six lattices in hand. still, to everyone’s surprise, they lost the match by two runs, as LSG’s Avesh Khan successfully defended the score for his side with his brilliant death bowling.

In an interview to News18 Rajasthan, Bihani mentioned Rajasthan Royals’ controversial history in the IPL, as their players were caught in spot- fixing in 2013.

Jaideep Bihani said in the interview,” In Rajasthan, the state government has appointed an ad- hoc commission. After analysing our work, we were given an extension for the fifth time. During our term, we’ve successfully organised all the competitions from quarter position to public position. still, as soon as the time came to host IPL, the Sports Council took control of it. The first letter that BCCI transferred for IPL was to RCA. The Sports Council and RR made the reason that we do n’t have an scowl with Sawai Mansingh Stadium.However, also what happed? Rajasthan also could n’t score nine runs in the last over against Delhi centrals( DC) with seven lattices in hand and ultimately lost the match in the Super Over, If there’s no scowl. After their fourth successive defeat, they’re now eighth in the points table with two triumphs and four points from eight matches. They will take on Royal contenders Bangalore( RCB) on April 24 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
