India ‘A’ Squad for England Tour Announced: Jaiswal, Gaikwad, Gill, and Sudharsan Among Key Picks

England Tour

The BCCI has officially announced a strong India ‘A’ squad for the upcoming tour of England Tour , set to begin on May 30. The team will be led by experienced opener Abhimanyu Easwaran, with Dhruv Jurel serving as the vice-captain and wicketkeeper.

The squad includes several rising stars and seasoned performers. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad have made the cut, signaling strong backing for their red-ball credentials. Gaikwad’s selection also indicates positive progress in his recovery from an elbow injury that kept him out of IPL 2025.

Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill are set to join the squad for the second game, depending on the progress of their IPL team Gujarat Titans, who are still in the race for the finals scheduled on June 3. The second match of the England tour starts June 6, giving them limited time to transition to red-ball cricket.
